A Note from Miguel: “I thought you ran a hormone clinic”
Someone said to me, “I thought you ran a hormone clinic.”
I said - “I do, but I don’t like to keep my blinders on.”
That’s not how I do things.
WHAT IF your symptoms aren’t hormone-related?
Then what?
I send you on your way and wish you luck?
No.
I go back to my differential diagnosis and try to find other causes for your (insert symptom/problem here).
There’s a reason medical training teaches healthcare providers how to formulate differential diagnoses. It’s one of the first things we learn early in our training.
A differential diagnosis is a list of alternative conditions that should be considered given the presenting symptoms, then ruled in or ruled out. It’s meant to CONSIDER A, B, or C before coming up with a definitive diagnosis.
So that’s why I chose to operate an integrative health clinic, and not a pure HRT clinic.
If I can help, I will.
That’s all for today.
Be well,
Miguel
