Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)

Hormones influence so much more than we often realize—how we feel in our bodies, how we sleep, even how we connect with others. When they’re out of balance, it can feel like something just isn’t right.

At Blue Zone Health and Wellness, we take a thoughtful, whole-person approach to hormone care.

Whether you're navigating female menopausal symptoms, male andropause, or other hormonal shifts, you deserve to feel at ease in your body again.

Supporting Men and Women Through Hormonal Change

For Men: Aging with Andropause and Hypogonadism

As men age, it's common for testosterone levels to gradually decline after the age of 30. However, the effects can feel anything but gradual. You might notice that your strength isn't what it used to be, your energy dips more often, or your drive, both physically and mentally, feels different. Sleep can become lighter or more broken, and focus and concentration may take a little more effort.

These changes are often linked to what's known as andropause or, more accurately, late-onset hypogonadism. This condition occurs when the body doesn't produce enough testosterone, leading to a range of symptoms that can impact your quality of life.

Many men silently navigate these shifts, unsure if what they're experiencing is "normal", anxiety/depression, or just part of aging. It's important to recognize that these symptoms are real and that you're not alone. Understanding the underlying causes can be the first step toward finding effective solutions and regaining control over your well-being.

For Women: Hormone Support Through Every Phase

Hormonal changes are a natural part of every woman’s life, but that doesn’t mean they’re simple or on a predictable timeline. From your very first period to the postpartum phase, through the transitions of perimenopause and menopause, and even into the years beyond, your hormones are in constant communication with every system in your body.

But when hormonal balance is disrupted, the effects can ripple through your entire day. You might find yourself riding the waves of mood swings, struggling to summon your usual energy, tossing and turning at night, or losing your usual mental clarity, i.e., brain fog. Cycles may become irregular, your skin may change, and sometimes, you just feel like something is off, even if you can’t quite put your finger on it.

These shifts can be subtle or intense, fleeting or long-lasting, and every woman experiences them differently. What’s most important is recognizing that your symptoms are valid. You don’t have to brush them off or tough them out. Understanding what’s happening inside your body is the first step toward feeling like yourself again - more aligned, more aware, and more empowered to take control of your hormonal health.

Recognize the Signs

Hormonal imbalance can show up in different ways for different people. You might notice:

  • Low energy or persistent fatigue

  • Trouble sleeping or staying asleep

  • Mood swings, anxiety, or feeling more irritable

  • Changes in libido or sexual function

  • Unexplained weight gain or muscle loss

  • Mental fog or memory lapses

If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone, and there’s a path forward.

  • Life shifts when your hormones are out of balance

Your energy dips, your focus feels foggy, or your motivation just isn’t what it used to be. If you've noticed changes in your mood, strength, or overall sense of well-being, it’s not just “part of getting older”—it could be a sign your hormones are out of balance.

  • When Your Body Feels Off, It’s Time to Listen

As time goes on, your body and mind may start sending quiet signals that something’s shifted. Trouble sleeping, low motivation, or feeling disconnected from your usual rhythm—these aren’t just things to tough out. They may be signs your hormones are out of balance and your body is asking for support.

  • Addressing changes in your body

Sometimes, you just know something feels off. Maybe your mood has shifted, your energy isn’t what it used to be, or you don’t quite feel like yourself anymore. These quiet changes are easy to brush aside—but they’re worth paying attention to. You don’t have to navigate them alone.

How we help

We start by listening—really listening—to what’s been going on.

From there, we offer:

  • In-depth lab testing to understand what’s happening on a hormonal level

  • Customized treatment options that may include bioidentical hormone therapy, nutrition, and lifestyle shifts

  • Ongoing check-ins to make sure you’re feeling supported and cared for throughout your journey

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all program. It’s a conversation, a collaboration, and a commitment to helping you feel more like yourself again.

Our Approach Isn’t for Everyone

Hormone therapy and lifestyle medicine work—but only if you’re ready to commit.

This kind of care isn’t about quick fixes or passive treatments. It’s a partnership that requires consistency, honesty, and a willingness to do the work between appointments. We’ll guide you every step of the way, but your results depend on your engagement.

If you’re looking for a one-size-fits-all plan or a shortcut, this likely isn’t the right fit.
But if you’re ready to take an active role in your health, stay curious, and make real changes, you’ll notice what I like to call “the shift”.

This is a long-term investment in your health and well-being, and we do not take that lightly.

We’re here when you’re ready.

HRT Pricing

HRT Membership Pricing

Initial Evaluation - $250

Note: All HRT memberships are structured as annual programs because meaningful results take time. Monthly payments are offered, if preferred.

As hormones become well-balanced and ongoing care requires less hands-on management, HRT plans decrease in price. This reflects the reduced amount of time and workload, while ensuring full access to the program.

Year 1 - $1000/year (paid up front) OR $95/month

Year 2 - $950/year (paid up front) OR $90/month

Year 3 - $900/year (paid up front) OR $85/month

Year 4 - $850/year (paid up front) OR $80/month

Year 5 - $800/year (paid up front) OR $75/month

During my pre-launch, I learned that each patient’s needs are different. Some may need full labs, others may not if they recently completed bloodwork with their PCP, and the needs for treatment also vary. Instead of bundling everything into an “all-inclusive” price (and keeping the difference), I’ve chosen a transparent approach: medications and lab costs are invoiced separately. You’ll always know your upfront costs.

A typical set of initial labs runs about $175, and follow-up labs are typically less, depending on what needs to be re-checked. Follow-up labs for a typical patient will be drawn about every 3 months, give or take. Keep in mind, the frequency of lab draws is individual to each patient, and the 3-month estimate is based on a patient with all normal lab results.

The pros of all-inclusive pricing:

It’s easy and predictable for the patient.

The cons of all-inclusive pricing:

It’s more expensive for the patient.

I’ve chosen to be patient-friendly and transparent. This way - you know what you pay for.

Getting Started with Hormone Therapy

Begin with Your Initial Consultation (or Optional Pre-Lab Pathway)

Before starting hormone therapy or enrolling in a membership, every new patient must begin with a comprehensive intake, but how we begin that process can vary slightly depending on your preference.

Option 1: Preferred Approach - Initial Consultation visit BEFORE AND AFTER labs

To chose this option, book an appointment online using the option: Initial Consultation

Most patients begin with a 1-on-1 consultation where I take time to understand your full story:

  • Medical history

  • Current symptoms and concerns

  • Medications, supplements, and past treatments

  • Health goals and expectations

From there, I’ll recommend lab work based on your specific needs. This avoids unnecessary or duplicate testing that may have already been done with your PCP, and ensures a focused, personalized care plan.

Once labs are reviewed, we’ll meet again to discuss your results and whether HRT makes sense for you.

Option 2: Lab Work First - Initial Consultation visit AFTER labs

To chose this option, book an appointment online using the option: Post Lab Consultation

If you want labs drawn before we meet, you may request a pre-consultation lab order, as long as the following are completed.

-Submit your Initial Intake Form (record your medical history, medications, supplements, and current symptoms)

-Make full upfront payment, which includes: Lab panel cost, post-lab consultation and review, assessment, and development of your recommended treatment plan.
