This Approach Isn’t for Everyone

Wellness Management gives you more time, access, and personalized support - but it only works if you’re willing to be an active part of the process.

This model is different from traditional healthcare. It’s not rushed. It’s not transactional. It’s built on relationships, ongoing conversations, and a shared commitment to your long-term well-being. I’ll show up fully for you, but I ask that you do the same.

If you’re looking for a quick prescription or a once-a-year visit, this may not be the right fit. But if you’re ready to take ownership of your health, you want a provider who knows your story; I’m here when you’re ready.

 FAQs

  • Blue Zone Health and Wellness does not accept insurance. The model is built to simplify healthcare by removing the red tape of insurance billing, so we can focus on what matters most, you.

Instead, I offer a straightforward monthly or annual payment plan.

You’re still free to use your insurance for things like specialist visits, hospital care, or regular prescriptions, but everything provided through your Blue Zone Health and Wellness membership is exclusively covered by your membership fee.

For labs, you may choose to use your insurance if your plan allows, but coverage is not guaranteed and depends on your individual policy and the lab’s billing practices. Discounted cash-pay lab pricing is always available.

  • Yes, I recommend carrying at least a high-deductible health plan (HDHP) alongside your Blue Zone Health and Wellness membership. While your membership covers our wellness services, an HDHP helps protect you in case of emergencies, hospital visits, or specialist care.

It’s important to note that your membership with Blue Zone Health and Wellness is not health insurance.

  • Yes, I accept HSA and FSA cards for eligible services. However, coverage is not guaranteed, as benefits/eligible services vary by plan. It is your responsibility to check with your HSA/FSA provider or plan administrator to confirm your specific coverage before your visit.

  • Unfortunately, no. Federal insurance regulations prohibit me from accepting cash payments from patients who are enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid. If you are covered by either of these programs, I am not legally allowed to process your payments outside of insurance.

If you are not certain whether you are currently covered by Medicare or Medicaid, please let us know before scheduling or submitting payment for labs so we can help confirm your status.
