Wellness Management

Long-term wellness. Rooted in health.

Healthcare should be more than just fixing a problem once it's already started. It should be about keeping you at your best and staying ahead of things before they become an issue.

The goal is to help you feel great every day, not just get you back to a "baseline."

To make that possible, I offer two ways to work together:

Wellness Management Primary Care:

This is for patients who want a direct, cash-based relationship. It is an all-inclusive membership that covers your routine visits, physicals, and "root-cause" chronic care - alongside all of my wellness and data optimization tools.

Wellness Management Add-On

This is for patients using their commercial insurance for medical visits. This fee covers the "extras" that insurance doesn't - like your InBody scans, wearable data integration, and ongoing coaching between visits - so we can focus on longevity.

Please note: Patients with Medicare or Medicaid are not eligible for the Wellness Management program due to federal regulations.

  • Healthcare tailored to your unique needs.

At Blue Zone Health and Wellness, I believe great healthcare means more than just treating illness - it’s about helping you feel your best and stay well.

The Wellness Management model combines the best of traditional and functional medicine, giving you direct access to a personalized plan and care that’s proactive, not rushed.

Whether you're optimizing performance or managing a health challenge, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

  • Healthcare that is as flexible and convenient as your life demands.

Virtual services allow for secure texting through the patient messaging app, phone calls, or video visits - no waiting rooms, no phone trees.

Whether you're managing a stable chronic condition, dealing with a minor illness, or working on long-term wellness goals, accessibility is built into your plan of care.

It’s important to take the time to understand your full story - your health history, current concerns, and the lifestyle factors that shape your well-being.

Whether you’re focusing on prevention or working toward specific wellness goals, I’m here to support you with personalized, integrative care that fits your life.

These diagnostics help you understand the underlying aspects of your health to uncover root causes and optimize your wellbeing.

Specialty Diagnostics include:

Gut Health Analysis

Purpose: This comprehensive stool test identifies bacterial imbalances, parasites, pathogens, and digestive function markers to uncover the root causes of digestive issues, inflammation, and immune dysfunction.

DUTCH hormone testing

Purpose: This advanced urine test maps your complete hormone profile including sex hormones, cortisol patterns, and metabolic pathways to address fatigue, mood issues, sleep problems, weight concerns, and hormonal imbalances.

Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM)

Purpose: This wearable sensor tracks your blood sugar levels in real-time for 10-14 days, revealing how your body responds to foods, exercise, stress, and sleep to optimize metabolic health and energy.

Food Sensitivity Testing

Purpose: This blood test identifies IgG immune reactions to common foods that may be triggering inflammation, digestive issues, headaches, skin problems, or fatigue.

Zonulin assessment

Purpose: This blood test measures intestinal permeability (leaky gut), helping identify if your gut barrier is compromised and contributing to inflammation, autoimmunity, or food sensitivities.

SIBO breath testing

Purpose: This non-invasive breath test detects small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), a common cause of bloating, gas, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and nutrient malabsorption.

Beyond the Scale: Body Composition Analysis

Weight alone doesn't tell the full story of your health. To truly optimize your longevity and metabolic function, we need to know exactly what that weight is made of.

What we track:

  • Skeletal Muscle Mass: Essential for metabolic health and functional longevity as we age.

  • Visceral Fat: Identifying the hidden "active" fat around your organs that drives inflammation and chronic disease.

  • Body Fat Percentage: A more accurate marker of health than BMI.

  • Segmental Lean Analysis: Identifying muscle imbalances to prevent injury and refine your movement routine.

This Approach Isn’t for Everyone

Wellness Management gives you more time, access, and personalized support - but it only works if you’re willing to be an active part of the process.

This model is different from traditional healthcare. It’s not rushed. It’s not transactional. It’s built on relationships, ongoing conversations, and a shared commitment to your long-term well-being. I’ll show up fully for you, but I ask that you do the same.

If you’re looking for a quick prescription or a once-a-year visit, this may not be the right fit. But if you’re ready to take ownership of your health, you want a provider who knows your story; I’m here when you’re ready.

Getting started with Wellness Management

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

1

I am currently transitioning my practice to a hybrid model. While I am private-pay today, I expect to be in-network with multiple insurance carriers by Summer 2026. If you'd like to work with me using your insurance, please contact me so I can add you to my priority notification list.

Do you accept Medicaid or Medicare?

2

Due to federal and state regulations, I cannot accept out-of-pocket (cash) payments from Medicare or Medicaid members for covered medical services. While I cannot see you for primary care today, I am happy to add you to my priority list now so you are the first to be notified when my in-network status is active Summer 2026.

What is the difference between Primary Care and Wellness Management?

3

Primary Care covers your essential medical needs, from routine physicals to chronic disease management.

Wellness Management is a separate, specialized path for those who want to deep-dive into longevity data insurance doesn't cover - like InBody scans, metabolic health, and wearable device integration.

Do I need a membership to see you for Primary Care?

4

No. Once I am in-network with your insurance, your primary care visits are billed through your plan (subject to your standard co-pays). My monthly membership options are strictly for cash-pay patients or those enrolled in the Wellness Management program for non-covered services.

Do you work with health shares like CrowdHealth?

5

Yes. This is a 'Direct Pay' friendly practice. While I do not credential directly with these organizations, I provide all the necessary documentation (Superbills) required for you to seek reimbursement from your health share community.
